Tales of Dog Training Southampton…
Hello everyone
Wow, my first post! I thought it was about time I wrote about what adventures I get up to with my “Happy Dogs Family” both with my walks and with training.
I have a wonderful group of dogs, especially selected, that I often use to help with training.
With so many of the dogs I train being rescues, they are often nervous and have never had the chance to positively react with other dogs. Positive play and interaction is so important in dogs, I would say one of the most important aspects by far as it shapes and affects so many aspects of the dogs life.
.. And one of the best experiences ever is to watch a dog owner see their dog interact positively with another dog for the first time. They can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.
This is of course does not happen straight away, and we have to risk assess each dog first. However when it it is safe to do so it is a wonderful sight. If you think Happy Dogs can help your dog positively interact with the world again, and with other dogs do contact us – we would love to hear from you.
There will be more posts introducing my four legged furry Happy Dogs Family soon!
